I'm running windows insider builds on this machine and sometime in the past, after an update, this started to happen with visual studio menus:

I looked around the web and tried some of the solutions explanations for this and nothing seems to work. It's becoming annoying enough that I've decided to ask here for some potential reasons for this behavior. A non-obvious setting, a registry config that may have gotten flipped after so many OS build updates, cosmic radiation, anything. :)

So, anyone else got this issue or has tips on how to fix it?

More details: The picture is from VS2019 preview 2 but it also happens with stable versions. I'm running the latest windows insider build atm. VS seems to be the only app affected by this.
