I feel like the more I program as part of my job, the more I detest programming in general and its lost any sparkle of fun or creativity.

Is there anything "fun" that you apply your programming skills towards? Anything hardware related? Any pet projects that you're doing on your own free time that actually feel rewarding and not just another way to make a buck?
