I like C# better than Java and would rather use it any day over Java. My preference for development is Linux, when MS annnounced this thing I was very excited to use C#.

However, these days it seems like they don't care that much about net core. Maybe I haven't been paying attention or whatever, but that's what I feel.

Am I wrong? Are there any new developments I haven't heard of? Is Xamarin coming to linux sometime soon?
