I am not too familiar with windows development, and found this in a post to get the smBIOS UUID issued at the PowerShell. Can anyone explain what this wmic command doing to get the uuid?

wmic path win32_computersystemproduct get uuid

I am trying to do this programmatically, but stuck, as win32_computersystemproduct has very limited info.
