Need to develop an SSRS scheduler in .net, how to approach this?

Would I need to develop the UI from scratch? Looks like there's an API I can schedule the reports against https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/subscriptions/subscriptions-and-delivery-reporting-services?view=sql-server-2017

Has anyone done this before? What were the challenges? Are there any resources/libraries that would help me with this?

Also, how long did it take you? I'd imagine developing the UI alone to match all the features in SSRS would take some time.
