Hey guys, I'm looking into configuration management for our company. We have a diverse deployment environment with different environment variables that are currently stored in a configuration database that is opaque to a large majority of the company. I know that there is the versioning of the web.config files, but that requires the user to have visual studio, which a lot of our people don't have (QA, our client engineers use other programs, etc) and I was wondering if there existed a tool for this. I'm currently looking into Octopus for this but to me that seems like using a bazooka to kill a fly when a flyswatter would do.
