LLVM has a very interesting part of its documentation, aimed at a simplistic language implementation: https://llvm.org/docs/tutorial/index.html

It is a very nice way of understanding the native types of the VM, such as strings and arrays. I've googled a little bit, but couldn't find any hands-on material focused on language implementations on top of CLR.

Does anyone recommend any good book or couple of articles on the subject? Thanks.
