Help! Desperate and noob alert!

I am a student tasked with a project to measure size of an object with OpenCV. This project aims to measure the leaf area to calculate the growth rate.

I was given a Raspberry Pi(NOOBS) with OpenCV installed and a camera for the RPi.

We are told to use .NET and Azure for this project.

Now I have found a link from GitHub by isuruShan/PlantGrowthProject (https://github.com/isuruShan/PlantGrowthProject/tree/master/Test/Camera%20Roll) which looks suitable for my project except that I may have to use a different algorithm by changing the code in ProcessImg.py

The problem is, I don’t know where to start. Should I run the .sln in Raspberry Pi or? Will really appreciate if I can get some guidance on this.
