Prerequisites for learning web development
Hey guys,
So my goal is to become a back-end web developer in C#. I have started learning the basics of C# and the .NET framework about a month ago. I've been practicing the basics of making methods and the OOP aspects and its been going well. So recently I've read a post on reddit from which i've gathered that you will learn most by doing the thing you want to accomplish and learn along the way, so naturally I've decided to look up some tutorials on ASP.NET. But when I started watching the tutorials, I had no idea what was going on and i feel like a lot of things were not explained, which needed to be. I am also familiar with the RESTful services and HTTP method concepts.
My question is if some of you who are more experienced in this area, have any suggestions as to what i need to learn first before starting to learn ASP.NET or web development in general. Also if you guys have can share how you've started or what you wish you did when you started, would be very welcome.
