Anybody else deal with intense morning anxiety?
Hello, I have suffered from moderate depression/anxiety (mostly social) for about a decade now. I was prescribed celexa in high school (20 mg), however I opted out due to side effects. I have found a decent equilibrium utilizing diet and exercise, however no matter what I do the first few hours of the day are the worst. I literally cannot hold a conversation, or even feel normal for that manner in the morning. Racing thoughts, cannot focus on one thing at once, generally just feeling 'weird' all that fun stuff. I have cut out caffeine, although I do have a moderate drinking habit (4-5 beers a night). Does anyone else experience this? I am asking because I literally cannot handle anything in the morning that involves socializing. I will admit, my diet and exercise habits have gone to hell since the holidays started but can this all be to blame? I literally feel like I am going insane....
