New to this sub and to reading (for pleasure)! Should I get an eReader?
I’m sure this topic has been exhausted on here, but I searched and all the threads on this were from at least a year ago (sorry if I’m wrong, I’ve just been lurking forever and this is my first post!).
Anyway, I just finished law school/the bar exam this past summer. I’ve always LOVED reading (I was an English major in college) but majorly fell out of it during law school and bar prep because I just couldn’t stand the thought of reading outside of the 12 hours a day I was forced to. Now that I’m done, I’m sooo excited to get back into it. I saw a thread below about overdrive/the ability to rent ebooks and am so intrigued—but I’m very overwhelmed by all my options as far as eReaders. Should I get a Nook or a Kindle or something else, and which versions? If it helps, I don’t need anything fancy—I just want it to be durable (so I can take it to the beach/on a train without worrying too much about it).
Thank you so much again for your help! Sorry again if this is too redundant :)
