So i'm basically halfway through this book and i just read a chapter that made me really confused and kinda freaked me out.

So, Teresa tells Tomas that she can't stop being jealous so Tomas takes her to a park and tells her that he knows what she want and he sends her happily to this mountain and when she arrives turns out that there are some men that killed people that want to die, so she tells them that it's not her will to die so she cries and goes back home.

When i read this i thought it was a dream of her but i think its's not, i mean, wtf. Why would Tomas do that? And why so happy? And did she took it like it was just so normal? Did i miss something?
