Great storytelling

Great new concepts

Great new characters

Reasonably readable prose

Would you buy it? This is something I've been churning around in my head for the last couple of days. Being a writer I was working really hard on my prose because I knew I had the storytelling and characterization covered. But now, I'm just thinking "Do I even fucking need to work this hard?"

I don't mean to sound like a lazy piece of shit, but it would really be good if you guys told me what you think.
