I wondered if anyone else had any similar quirks to myself when selected to purchase a new book

Note: I have a paperwhite kindle (which I love) so these are mostly focused on e-books.

1. Nothing under 300 pages. If it’s shorter I just can’t accept it being worthy of a book and consider it a short story with filler.

2. No Drawings of the characters on the cover.

3. No descriptive text in the title field. “A thrilling adventure” makes me assume it’s neither.

4. Not a stand alone - So many are listed a Book One in the blah blah series.” I know it’s dumb, but I’d rather not feel like this is just a prologue and I’m not ready to make this level of commitment
