Hello! I’m working on a school project exploring the cultural considerations and barriers to Latino individuals/families accessing public services and resources, especially mental health services. I’ve found a fair amount of formal research, but also wanted to hear the perspective of individuals from the Latino community regarding important considerations, barriers, struggles, and experiences, as well as thoughts on what changes need to happen in order to better serve this population.
