What are the takeaways in the short story "Viewfinder"? I read through it, but wasn't sure about what the themes or major points to the story were. Also, why did the man throw rocks off of his rooftop? Thanks for all of your help and tips!

I think that it maybe it has something in relation to his children. Is throwing rocks off of his roof symbolic of what his children did? What happened to his children?
