I really want to get into reading but every book I try just bores me so I want to read the Harry Potter series as I know I love the films. However, having seen the films I'm finding it hard to enjoy reading the books, partly because I know I could just turn the film on.

Not really sure what I'm asking but does anyone have any tips maybe for reading a book after you've seen the film?
