Should books have emotional cues?

So bare with me before you answer. I just started reading books for fun at the rip old age of 30+. Most of the time I have to reread a page multiple times to fully understand and appreciate what I just read. I still have to look up plenty of words and most of the time I read in a monotone voice not giving female, male or kids any distinguishing voices. All this has lead me to realized that I will have read a tragic scene, a shoot out or an emotional act and not realized it was so until I had already gone through with it and sometimes I don't realize it at all. So now to my question, personally I would love it if a book was color coded even if just for very specific events. Maybe Blue highlight for a sad scene, red for an angry one and so forth. I know it sounds childish but at this point reading for me is about fun and not how smart I am or how much I comprehend.

What is your opinion on emotional cues in books? And are there any books like this at all?
