Hi!

The love of my life is a Sue Grafton and Kinsey fan. She's a voracious reader and has read every book, they've been her friends through some very hard times.

She is grieving for Sue, as I am sure many are. I haven't read any of the books, but I've also lost authors and know the sense of loss and pain that comes with not only the loss of an author but the feeling of incompletion that comes when the book series is left undone.

My ignorance is why I need your help. My heart is broken for my wife and I want to give her something special, a gift that has meaning and intent behind it. I need your help to tell me about Kinsey and the book series, to help me find a way to give my Sarah something special.

I've read the Wikipedia pages, so I have a very truncated understanding - I know the basics of Kinsey's background, her love of peanut-butter and pickle sandwiches, her relationships, but I don't know her like you know her.

Does Kinsey have something she turns to for comfort? A book, a TV show, her favorite mug, a blanket - anything that I can try to replicate in the real world and give as a gift. I know there's a cafe press store, but I'm hoping to find something deeper than a Tshirt or a mug.

For example, I'm a fan of the Tom Baker Doctor Who Doctor, so a gift of jelly-babies would be meaningful to me. I'd love to find the same thing for Kinsey
