I have read Of Mice and Men, the Pearl, and Cannery Row so far. I enjoyed all of them, but couldn't help but notice how exhausting it was to read them. His style was not exactly complex, just full of "So many things", couldn't read 20 pages before feeling tired. Any one else felt like that?
