Anyone read it? (Pun not intentional, though affirmed). I am fairly new to Mann’s works but I am halfway through Magic Mountain and I love it. I looked up his bibliography and found this. I will probably not go at it right now but I would like to hear someones thought about it. How much biblical knowledge is necessary? To be honest, biblical setted books haven’t really interested me earlier but since it is by Thomas Mann, and by himself considered his greatest work, I am interested of it.
