Spoilers Ahead

I’m a little over half way through reading The Troop by Nick Cutter. I really enjoyed the book until it started getting into so much animal cruelty. Shelley tortures animals, then kills the kitten. The turtle scene was pretty sad. I’m honestly not sure if I can finish the book.

I’m wondering from those of you that have read it, how many more chapters will be like this? Should I quit now?
