When I was a preteen my dad only had sports magazines and Maxim magazines, I'd never seen him pick up a book for enjoyment. He did however, take me to he library every week so I could pick up as many books as I could carry. The only book recommendation I've ever gotten from him is "On a Pale Horse" and I ended up reading, rereading, and rereading the series again. It'll always hold a special place to me because it surprised me how much I enjoyed it. So, reddit, has anyone else found an interesting book in an unexpected place?
