My sister is on WellCare “Healthy Choice” through Medicaid in the US, more specifically NY. For days now I’ve been sitting here listening to her call doctor upon doctor with no luck. They either don’t answer the phone (she leaves a message), don’t call her back, aren’t accepting new patients, no longer accept her insurance, no longer exist at that particular location, etc.

Is this normal? I have never tried to schedule these types of appointments myself.
